Lorena

My name is Lorena Corona. I am a 19-year-old single mother of two, a daughter named Alexcia, who is almost two, and a baby boy named Andre, three months old. It was hard to complete this class, but I just kept telling myself that I’m here for my kids, to be a good example, and that I did something good with my life. I’m a little confused about what I want to do. I know I want to work in health care. It's hard to raise my kids when I work at Dairy Queen, and I know that there are a lot of job openings in health care. I am very proud of myself that I made it this far, and that gives me motivation to keep going further. I know I will be where I want to be down the road. I just have to keep my head high.
